Assam Laghu Vikas Trust (SEBI Reg. IN/AIF1/22-23/1116) is a Category I — Venture Capital Fund managed by SIDBI Venture Capital Limited (SVCL), the venture capital arm of the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). Registered in August 2022, the trust's first scheme is the Assam Start-up Venture Capital Fund — a close-ended fund sponsored by SIDBI. The fund invests primarily through privately negotiated equity and convertible instruments, seeking standard venture capital rights as a shareholder.
