Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the wisefolio platform. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them. This is a working draft pending final legal review.

1. Acceptance & eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the platform. The party you contract with is the operating entity below.

2. What wisefolio is

wisefolio is a research, discovery, and community platform for investors. It is not a broker, a SEBI-registered investment adviser, a portfolio manager, or a stock exchange, and nothing on the platform is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. See Disclosures and the Legal & Disclaimers overview.

3. Your account

You sign in through our identity provider. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. One account per person; do not share or transfer your account.

4. Memberships & subscriptions

Paid memberships are billed through a recurring mandate with our payment processor (Cashfree) and auto-renew each billing period until you cancel.

Cancellation. You can cancel an active or paused subscription at any time. Cancellation stops auto-renewal at the end of the current period: you keep access until the current period ends, and there is no refund for the current period. You can resubscribe at any time, and you can also pause and resume a subscription instead of cancelling.

Refunds. Membership and subscription payments are non-refundable.

5. Event tickets, access & recordings

These rules reflect how access is enforced in the product today:

• Paid event access is ticket-based and time-limited — the window is set per event (approximately 60 days).
• Free-for-all recordings are open to all signed-in users.
• Premium-only recordings are available to active Premium members for as long as their membership is active.
• If you attended a free event live, you get a 48-hour rewatch window on its premium-only recording.
• Event-ticket refunds. Only paid orders qualify. A request must be made within 24 hours of the order and before the event starts. On request your access is blocked immediately, only one active request is allowed per order, and approved refunds are typically processed within about 7 business days.

6. Unlisted-shares desk

The unlisted-shares desk operates on a principal basis: you transact with the desk, settlement is by direct bank transfer (no payment gateway and no escrow), and unlisted shares are illiquid and may carry lock-ins. 7. Community rules

When you post in the community you must not spam, harass, infringe, or post unlawful content. We may moderate, edit, or remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules. You keep ownership of what you post but grant us a licence to host and display it on the platform. Views expressed by Expert authors are their own and are not endorsed by wisefolio.

8. Intellectual property

The wisefolioname, logo, and platform content are our property or licensed to us. Third-party trademarks and logos are shown for identification only and remain their owners' property; their display does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

9. Not investment advice / past performance

Manager profiles, strategy snapshots, returns, AIF scheme details, and insights are for information only and are not investment advice. Past performance is not indicative of future results and may not be net of all fees, expenses, and taxes. Consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser before making any investment decision.

10. Fees & taxes

Prices shown include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise, and we issue a GST tax invoice for paid purchases. The GST SAC code shown on invoices is To be confirmed.

11. Referral / Ambassador program

If you take part in the wisefolio Ambassador (referral) program, additional program terms apply to how rewards are earned and paid.

12. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform is provided “as is”, and wisefolio is not liable for any losses, direct or indirect, arising from your use of the platform or reliance on any information presented here. Investing carries market risk; your investment decisions are your own.

13. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, misuse the platform, or where required by law. You may stop using the platform and close your account at any time.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at To be confirmed have exclusive jurisdiction.

15. Changes & contact
