Supporting startups with India scale and global potential
Capria Ventures India Fund III (IN/AIF2/24-25/1590) is a SEBI-registered Category II Alternative Investment Fund registered in September 2024, managed by UC Impower Investment Managers LLP — the PE fund arm of the Unitus Capital Group. UC Impower is co-founded by Eric Savage (CEO, Unitus Capital) and described as 'an ambitious early-growth-stage private equity fund.' The fund is marketed under the Capria Ventures brand — a global impact investment platform co-founded by Will Poole and Dave Richards, partnered with Unitus Capital for India-focused funds. Capria Ventures India Fund III is the third India fund in this series, focused on investing in impact-led growth-stage companies in financial inclusion, climate tech, affordable healthcare, affordable education, and related sectors. Unitus Capital, headquartered in Bengaluru, is India's leading impact investment group — ranked #1 Indian investment bank by Venture Intelligence — having raised over USD 5 billion for impact businesses since 2007. The fund is registered at No. 99/100, Prestige Towers, 2nd Floor, Residency Road, Bengaluru 560025.
Capria Ventures / UC Impower invests in early-growth-stage companies in India that are building scalable, impact-led businesses addressing fundamental challenges in financial inclusion, climate tech, affordable healthcare, affordable education, and livelihoods. The investment philosophy combines rigorous commercial underwriting with deep sector expertise and a commitment to measurable social and environmental impact. The approach emphasises partnering with founders who have the potential to lead large, sustainable businesses, and providing hands-on support across capital raising, governance, and strategy. Unitus Capital's broader thesis is that impact and returns are complementary — backing companies that serve underserved markets with innovative, technology-enabled solutions delivers both commercial success and transformational societal change.
