Z3Partners Tech Fund (SEBI Reg. IN/AIF2/19-20/0704) is the first fund managed by Z3P Advisors LLP (LLPIN: AAO-1858), the investment manager for the Z3Partners platform. Founded in 2019 by Gautam Patel (former co-founder of Zodius Technology Fund) and headquartered at One Lodha Place, Lower Parel, Mumbai, the fund announced its first close at US$ 14 million in January 2021 against a target corpus of US$ 100 million. Z3Partners Tech Fund invests in early-growth tech and digital startups in India across fintech, e-commerce, B2B commerce, SaaS, data analytics, and agritech. As of 2024, the portfolio spans 17 companies including two unicorns (MakeMyTrip, BigBasket), one IPO, and four acquisitions, with recent investments including Bhanzu, Gramophone, and Cyfirma Security. The fund has co-invested alongside WestBridge Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Eight Roads Ventures, and other marquee names.
