Volt VC Trust is a Category II Alternative Investment Fund managed by Volt VC Private Limited, a Ahmedabad-based micro venture capital firm founded by Param Patel. Volt VC is India's first micro VC fund from Gujarat, focused exclusively on pre-seed stage investments in high-margin, fast-growing consumer-centric startups across D2C, B2C, and B2B2C business models. The firm's inaugural fund — Volt VC Fund 1, a scheme of Volt VC Trust — targets a corpus of ₹45 crore and plans to invest ₹50 lakh to ₹2 crore (up to USD 250,000) in approximately 20–25 startups at the pre-seed stage. Beyond capital, Volt VC provides strategic guidance, market research, product development support, branding, fundraising strategy, and access to a broad expert network. The fund is sector-agnostic but has a strong focus on consumer innovation, and is designed to bridge the gap in early-stage funding in Gujarat and across India.

Founder & Managing Partner
Param Patel is the Founder and Managing Partner of Volt VC and the driving force behind India's first micro VC fund from Gujarat. He previously led startup investments at Gujarat Venture Finance Limited (GVFL) and served as Chief Investment Officer and a founding fund team member at Terazo. He also has earlier experience at Maxim Group and Citi. He holds an MBA from Baruch College (Zicklin School of Business), New York. At Volt VC, Patel focuses on pre-seed consumer startups, providing capital alongside strategic guidance, product development support, and fundraising strategy.
