Arun Mehra has been investing in India since 1997. As Head of Investment Strategy & Portfolio Manager, he set up Fidelity International’s India Investment Operation from 2003–2006, including establishing the India-based equity research group and launching both international and domestic India funds. He managed approximately $4 billion in Indian equities and was an early investor in the small and mid-cap space.

Managing Director of Assago Group, a collective of companies driven by sustainability and innovation. Currently runs a 200 KLPD biofuels manufacturing company in Andhra Pradesh named Assago Industries. Previously served as Executive Director at Syska LED and worked with organizations including John Hancock, EMC and Amazon.

Widely known as CP Gurnani, he is the former Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Tech Mahindra, serving from December 2012 to December 2023. He led one of India’s prominent technology and digital transformation companies for over a decade before retiring in December 2023.
