Senora AIF StaG Trust is a SEBI-registered Category III Alternative Investment Fund managed by Senora Asset Management Private Limited (CIN: U66190MH2023PTC415585), a Mumbai-based investment management company established in 2024 by Mridul Jalan and Vivek Kedia. Senora is a strategic expansion of Senora Advisors (SAL), a SEBI-registered investment advisory firm the same founders built since 2017. The fund's flagship product — StaG (Stability, Tactical, and Growth) — is a concentrated, India-centric, long-only large-cap equity strategy. The fund maintains a focused portfolio of 15–20 large-cap stocks, targeting consistent outperformance over the Nifty 50 by 5–10% across market cycles, with a Nifty-linked hurdle rate. Senora operates a B2B2C distribution model, working with IFAs, MFDs, and wealth management firms, and has established relationships with over 50 channel partners and approximately 100 clients across major Indian cities. Senora's investment philosophy is rooted in a fundamental belief that 'investing is first about choosing the right place and the right strategy — returns are a result of following the right process over time.' The StaG framework blends core, tactical, contra, and momentum strategies to invest in fundamentally strong large-cap companies with pricing power, strong operating cash flows, and sustainable business models. Rather than chasing short-term performance, Senora emphasises earnings-driven stock selection from the Nifty 50 universe, identifying future winners and avoiding laggards. Risk management and long-term wealth creation are treated as equal priorities, informed by the fund manager's lived experience of major market dislocations including the Lehman crisis.

Mridul Jalan is the Founder and CIO of Senora Asset Management. An MBA alumnus of IIM Calcutta, Mridul has over 20 years of experience in equity markets, having worked with leading domestic institutional broking houses where he developed deep expertise in equity fundamentals, derivatives, technical analysis, and portfolio management. Having witnessed major market dislocations including the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy, his investment approach places risk management and long-term conviction at the centre of everything. He leads all fund management and research at Senora.
Vivek Kedia
Co-Founder & Head of Business
Vivek Kedia is the Co-Founder and Head of Business at Senora Asset Management. An MBA (Finance) from NMIMS Mumbai, he brings over a decade of experience in corporate sales, business development, and P&L management with leading financial institutions. Vivek is extensively networked with CXOs and management teams of large corporates and leads business origination, client relationship management, and channel partnerships at Senora.
