Seafund Venture India Trust (SEBI Reg. IN/AIF2/22-23/1122) is the second fund by Seafund — a Bengaluru and Delhi-based early-stage deep technology venture capital firm — managed by Salamander Advisors LLP, a limited liability partnership registered with the Registrar of Companies. Seafund was founded in 2015 by Manoj Kumar Agarwal and Mayuresh Raut, with Narendra Bhandari and Agam Gupta subsequently joining as General Partners. The firm invests at the pre-seed to pre-Series A stage in defensible deep-tech startups across semiconductors, AI/ML, cybersecurity, space technology, biotechnology, robotics, medtech, EVs, and alternate fuels. Seafund has invested in 26+ companies including TakeMe2Space (space tech; launched MOI-1 satellite), Calligo Technologies (POSIT-based chips), Redwing, Wigzo (acquired), Genrobotics, Pupilfirst, and BestDoc. For Fund II (this record), the target corpus and greenshoe are not publicly disclosed. Fund I (SEBI Reg. IN/AIF1/16-17/0263, Cat I VCF) was the predecessor vehicle, also managed by Salamander Advisors LLP. The firm operates from Bengaluru (305, 3rd Floor, 5, Vittal Mallya Road, Shanthala Nagar) and Delhi.

Manoj Kumar Agarwal is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Seafund. He has 30+ years of experience in setting up and managing businesses, M&A, fund raising, and business strategy. Until 2013, he was CEO of Karuturi Global Limited, one of the world's top 25 agro-transnational companies with interests across agriculture, floriculture, food processing, and internet services. He is also an advisor to Latize (Singapore) and Alp Consulting, and is an active participant in startup events across India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. He holds a B.E. in Computer Science from B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bengaluru, and has attended INSEAD (SG).
