Prowealth Trust (SEBI Reg. IN/AIF3/18-19/0556) is a Category III AIF registered in June 2018, founded by Bharathi Share Broking Private Limited and managed by WSIM Fund Advisors LLP. The fund operates the 'Prowealth Multi Opportunity Scheme,' a sophisticated two-leg strategy designed to outperform the Nifty Index by preserving capital during market downturns and participating in upside through a structured options approach. The first leg employs arbitrage strategies across equity, commodity, and F&O markets — exploiting statistical inefficiencies in index option pricing and stock/futures pricing — with fallback to debt investments. The second leg deploys potential gains from the first leg into a series of call and put options across various strike prices and maturities to participate in Nifty upside. The fund uses leverage through futures and options positions (offset with hedging), with approximately 80–95% of the portfolio in debt/arbitrage securities and 5–20% in F&O instruments. The fund is structured as a private trust with Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited as independent custodian. Investors have a two-year lock-in period, after which redemptions are permitted at quarter-end in multiples of ₹5 crore. The fund is headquartered at No.9, II Floor, Sucons Padmalaya, Venkatanarayana Road, T. Nagar, Chennai 600017.
Prowealth Multi Opportunity Scheme's investment strategy operates in cycles of one to two years. During down cycles, the first leg seeks to preserve capital through arbitrage and derivatives. During up cycles, the second leg seeks participation in index upside through options. The outperformance is expected to manifest after a complete down-and-up cycle. The fund's approach is patient and cyclical, designed to generate superior risk-adjusted returns over the medium term while protecting capital on the downside.
