Motilal Oswal Capital Limited (MOCL) is a public limited company incorporated on September 19, 2016 under the Companies Act, 2013 (SEBI PMS Reg: INP000006776, granted June 24, 2019). MOCL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company Limited (MOAMC), which is in turn a subsidiary of Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited (MOFSL). MOCL is registered at Motilal Oswal Tower, Rahimtullah Sayani Road, Opposite Parel ST Depot, Prabhadevi, Mumbai 400025. MOCL is also a registered investment adviser (RIA) with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (Registered Investment Adviser under the Investment Company Act of 1940, since June 30, 2017). Currently MOCL provides only investment advisory services in a sub-advisory capacity to offshore clients — a privately placed pooled investment vehicle exempt from the US Investment Company Act (effective November 7, 2017). MOCL does not currently offer domestic discretionary or non-discretionary PMS to Indian investors; its PMS registration is held for potential future use. The group website www.motilaloswal.com serves the broader Broking & Distribution business of MOFSL.

Mr. Motilal Oswal is the Managing Director and CEO of Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited (MOFSL), the parent group. He co-founded the group in 1987 along with Raamdeo Agrawal. He is a B.Com graduate and ACA (Chartered Accountant). He has served on the governing board of the Bombay Stock Exchange as a Director, on the NSE committee for F&O, and on the Managing Committee of the Indian Merchants' Chamber. He has received the Rashtriya Samman Patra from the Government of India for being among the highest income tax payers in India for five consecutive years. He has been awarded the Rashtriya Samman Patra, 'Rajasthan Ratna Manav Seva' Award, 'Champion of Arthshastra' by Rotary Club, and 'The Hall of Fame for Excellence in Franchising' by Franchising World Magazine, among others.

Prateek Agrawal is a Director of MOCL and the MD & CEO of parent company MOAMC (since April 26, 2024). He has close to 30 years of experience in Asset Management, Investment Banking, Advisory, and Sell-Side Research. Prior to joining MOAMC in October 2022, he was Business Head and CIO at ASK Investment Managers. Earlier he was Head of Equity at BNP Paribas Mutual Fund and BOI AXA Mutual Fund, and Head of Research at SBI Capital Markets. He holds a PGDM (Finance & Management) from Xavier Institute of Management and a B.E. in Electronics from NIT.
