Long Arc's investment philosophy is anchored in its 'Endurance Framework (3Ds)': (1) Durability — seeking durable business models built on essential customer needs, layers of customer value, growing competitive moats, and structural tailwinds; fragility is the default, so durability must be actively identified; (2) Discipline — seeking organisational cultures and operating models marked by customer-centricity, empowerment, high standards, rapid learning, and resource rigour; execution is hard, and disciplined cultures are rare; (3) Depth — seeking 'oceanic leaders', forces of nature who are restlessly aware, generous in spirit, endlessly learning, and capable of radiating energy to expand the frontiers of progress. Long Arc applies a business-owner mindset to deep research: first eliminating methodically, then continuously high-grading conviction on endurance through data analysis, targeted fieldwork, and trusted networks. The firm manages risk through disciplined elimination, price discipline, and prudent diversification. Current bottom-up focus sectors: Financials, Technology, Industrials, and Consumer.
