LICHFL Fund (IN/AIF1/25-26/1941) is a SEBI-registered Category I AIF managed by LICHFL Asset Management Company Limited (LICHFL AMC), the private equity vertical of the LIC Group — India's largest investor in the financial market with AUM exceeding USD 650 billion. LICHFL AMC is a wholly owned subsidiary of LIC Housing Finance Limited, which is itself backed by LIC of India. Incorporated in 2008 (CIN: U65900MH2008PLC178883) and registered with SEBI in October 2025 as a Category I vehicle, this fund adds to the firm's existing platform of four real estate-focused AIFs: LICHFL Urban Development Fund (LUDF, fully deployed, INR 5.29 billion raised), LICHFL Housing & Infrastructure Fund (LHIF, INR 10 billion target + INR 2.5 billion green shoe), LICHFL Real Estate Debt Opportunities Fund (LRDOF), and LICHFL Real Estate Equity Opportunities Fund (LREOF). LICHFL AMC also operates a branch at GIFT City (IFSC), Gujarat for offshore fund activities. The firm's investor base spans nearly all major Indian banks, insurance companies, corporate investors, and HNIs. With a team carrying over 100 years of combined expertise, LICHFL AMC delivers full-cycle fund management covering investment origination, project management, research, facilities management, secretarial, and legal domains. Shri Devojit Sanyal is Director and CEO of LICHFL Asset Management Company Limited. He leads the firm's private equity and real estate investment management activities across all fund vehicles. He is a graduate of Birla Institute of Technology and is based in Mumbai.

Chief Investment Officer

Ujwal Parekh joined LICHFL AMC as Chief Investment Officer in September 2025, responsible for driving investment strategy, fundraising, AUM growth, and steering the firm toward an eventual AMC listing. He previously spent a decade at Nippon India Mutual Fund / Nippon Life India AIF as National Lead – Real Estate Investments, specialising in real estate private equity, structured credit, project finance, and construction finance. Earlier in his career he was a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young Global Consulting Services. He is a Chartered Accountant and earlier worked at Milestone Capital and Landmark Capital Advisors.

Ashutosh Hegde is Senior Executive Vice President & Head – Investments at LICHFL AMC and serves as Principal Officer of the GIFT City (IFSC) Branch. A practitioner of sustainable investments with 22 years of investment experience and 11 years of operational background, he was instrumental in founding the LIC Group's private equity vertical and pioneered several real estate investment trends in India. He specialises in private equity, structured and mortgage finance for development and yield assets, and has raised over INR 13 billion across two real estate and infrastructure funds.
