LIC Mutual Fund Asset Management Ltd is one of India's oldest and most established asset management companies, promoted by Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). The company has been managing mutual fund schemes since 1989, making it one of the pioneer fund houses in India. LIC of India holds a majority stake in the AMC. The company manages a diversified range of schemes across equity, debt, hybrid, passive and solution-oriented categories. As of April 2025, Assets under Management (AUM) stood at approximately ₹37,554 crore (up 11% from ₹33,854 crore in March 2025). The fund house aims to reach ₹1 lakh crore AUM by FY2026 and to break into the top-10 mutual fund houses in India.
