JM Financial Credit Opportunities Fund (also referred to as 'JM Credit Opportunities Fund – 1' or 'COF') is a SEBI-registered Category II Alternative Investment Fund (reg. IN/AIF2/22-23/1193, LEI: 254900QYWU7T0CIK0782), registered in January 2023 and managed by JM Financial Asset Management Limited (CIN: U65991MH1994PLC078879) — the AMC arm of the JM Financial Group. It is the maiden performing credit fund of JM Financial Group and achieved its first close in 2023 with approximately ₹600 crore of commitments. The fund is a sector-agnostic private credit vehicle that targets opportunities from the dislocations in credit markets caused by regulatory differences between banks and NBFCs, for both promoters and operating companies. The fund focuses on sectors including consumer, healthcare, manufacturing, conglomerates, B2B and services, renewables, and ESG-oriented sectors. It targets gross returns in the mid to high teens through a mix of secured lending with potential upside participation in equity performance of underlying companies. As of early 2026, the fund is on track to deliver target returns with several investments already exited.
