IN/AIF2/20-21/0866), managed by Inga Ventures Private Limited — a 25-year-old boutique investment banking firm founded by G.S. Ganesh (first-generation investment banker) and headquartered at Hubtown Solaris, Andheri East, Mumbai. Inga Ventures specialises in mid-cap capital markets and advisory, and established the fund in partnership with TIH Singapore. The fund focuses on mid-cap emerging opportunities — taking minority equity stakes in growth-stage companies while leveraging Inga's three-decade network and advisory expertise to assist investees in growth through co-investors, institutional placements, and public listing or strategic exits. 'Ekkum TIH' reflects the partnership: Inga (Tamil/Sanskrit for 'here') and TIH (Technology Innovation Hub or family office from Singapore). The fund represents Inga's pivot from pure advisory to proprietary capital deployment in mid-cap India.
Inga Ventures' investment approach is that of a 'Relationship Banker' rather than a 'Transaction Banker' — investing significant time in understanding a company's business, promoter culture, and long-term aspirations before deciding on capital deployment. The fund focuses on mid-cap companies where Inga's 25 years of corporate relationships create deal-flow and value-add advantage. Beyond capital, Inga actively assists portfolio companies in their growth phase through its network of like-minded co-investors, ultimately targeting public listing or strategic divestment as the exit path.
