IAN Fund I (IN/AIF1/16-17/0220) is a SEBI-registered Category I Venture Capital (Angel) Fund (registered February 2021) managed by Indian Angel Network Services Private Limited — the fund management arm of IAN Group, India's largest horizontal early-stage investment platform. IAN Capital (also known as IAN Fund 1 — the SEBI-registered fund) is the flagship angel-to-seed fund of IAN Group, which was founded in 2006 by Saurabh Srivastava, Padmaja Ruparel, and other prominent entrepreneurs. The fund invests in early-stage, technology-enabled startups across 20 sectors with cheques from INR 50 lakh to INR 50 crore. IAN Group has backed 260+ startups, created ~1,60,000 jobs, and reduced 39,00,000 MT of CO2 emissions. Portfolio unicorns and notable exits include WebEngage, Spinny, Zypp Electric, Wow Momo, Uniphore, Pandorum Technologies, Dhruva Space, Manastu Space, Fluxgen, and Noccarc.
