Fulcrum Fund III (IN/AIF2/16-17/0277) is a Category II AIF managed by Fulcrum Venture India LLP, a specialised private equity firm founded in 2000 by Krishna Ramanathan. Krishna is the founding partner of Fulcrum Venture India LLP and has been responsible for all investments under the brand since 2000. He turned investor immediately after graduation, first heading his family office (Fund I, which generated 18x returns with 7x returned in cash) before establishing Fulcrum as a PE manager. Over 16+ years he has invested across Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Real Estate, Agriculture, and Information Technology. He sits on the boards of Curatio Healthcare, Richfeel Health and Beauty, Shield Healthcare, and SpecsMakers Opticians, among others. He is a member of Chennai Angels and TiE. Holds an MBA from Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB), Bhubaneswar.
Magesh Ragaavan
CFO & Head of Operations
Magesh joined Fulcrum in 2017 as CFO and Head of Operations. He manages all aspects of operations and rolls out best practices between Fulcrum and its portfolio companies including Curatio Healthcare, Southern Health Food, SpecsMakers Opticians, and Shield Healthcare. He has 20+ years of experience in operations, process re-engineering, audits, and finance. Prior to Fulcrum, he was COO & CFO of SwaaS Systems Private Limited, and before that worked with multinationals Ford and Unilever. Chartered Accountant by qualification.
Manpreeth Kaur
Head – Finance & Taxation
Manpreeth joined Fulcrum in 2018 as Head – Legal & Tax (subsequently Head – Finance & Taxation). She has 14+ years of experience advising companies on tax and regulatory matters including cross-border transactions, corporate and financial restructuring, mergers, hive-offs, capital reorganisation, and tax due diligence. She has served a wide cross-section of global and domestic companies in both private and public sectors across transaction advisory roles at several professional firms. Chartered Accountant by qualification.
