Chidambaram Palaniappan is the Founder, Managing Director and CEO of Florintree Advisors Private Limited, and the SEBI-registered contact person for Florintree India Flexi Advantage Trust. Before founding Florintree in 2014, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager and Director on the Board at Martin Currie Investment Management (Edinburgh), responsible for European equities with peak AUM of USD 1.1 billion, focusing on mid and small-cap companies across Europe. Prior to Martin Currie, he was Head of Telecommunications Banking for UK and Scandinavia at Rabobank London (USD 1.6 billion credit assets). He began his career in telecoms, media and technology financing at Peregrine Capital in Mumbai in 1994. B.Tech from IIT Kanpur; PGDM from IIM Bangalore (Director's Merit List).
