Faad Capital Trust (IN/AIF1/22-23/1175) is a SEBI-registered Category I Angel Fund managed by FAAD Network Private Limited (CIN: U93000DL2015PTC281759) — operating under the brand 'FAAD Capital'. FAAD Network was founded in 2015 by Dr Dinesh Singh and Karan Verma (both Co-Founders and Directors) in Gurugram, with Aditya Arora later joining as CEO. The firm began as a one-stop entrepreneurial services platform and pivoted in 2019 to a focused investor-network and angel fund model. Investment Philosophy

FAAD Network's investment philosophy is fundamentally sector-agnostic, supporting early-stage founders from Pre-Seed to Series A with ticket sizes of USD 100K–1M. The fund's approach is to 'add value to businesses in conjunction with maximising monetary returns' — working not just for a single fundraising round but through the company's blitz-scaling journey. FAAD curates startups stringently from a large inbound pipeline (6,000+ evaluated), selecting those with clearly defined competitive advantages and long-term mutual synergy. Beyond capital, FAAD provides access to its 400+ investor network, documentation support, pitch preparation, and mentorship. The fund is driven by a mission to democratise angel investing in India — moving the ecosystem beyond a purely HNI-driven market to include broader retail and institutional participation.

Karan Verma

Co-Founder & Director / SEBI Contact Person

Karan Verma is Co-Founder and Director of FAAD Network Private Limited and the designated SEBI contact person for Faad Capital Trust. An Engineer by education, he started his career in B2B and e-commerce sales at Synergy Environics Ltd before co-founding FAAD in 2015 with Dr Dinesh Singh. He is responsible for growing FAAD's investor community, managing investor relations, and facilitating angel investments into seed and growth-stage ventures. He is a REX Karmaveer Chakra Awardee for his work in angel investments and promoting entrepreneurship.

Dr Dinesh Singh is Co-Founder and Director of FAAD Network Private Limited. He co-founded FAAD in 2015 with Karan Verma. He has expertise in identifying and capitalising on opportunities to build revenue, turnarounds, and rapid growth in competitive markets. He previously worked with Karan Verma at Synergy Environics in the mobile radiation chips segment.

Chief Executive Officer

Aditya Arora is the CEO of FAAD Network. He joined FAAD after meeting the co-founders at an internship fair, and has led the firm's transformation from an entrepreneurial services platform to a focused angel fund. He is a Mentor of Change at Atal Innovation Mission (NITI Aayog), has delivered guest lectures at 250+ institutions globally, and has received multiple awards including the Parliamentary Award, Microsoft Top 15 Changemakers of India, and REX Karamveer Chakra by United Nations.
