DSP Investment Managers

DSP Blackrock Alternative Investment Fund Category III is a SEBI-registered Category III Alternative Investment Fund (reg. IN/AIF3/13-14/0059), one of India's earliest Category III AIFs, registered in June 2013. It is managed by DSP Investment Managers Private Limited (CIN: U65990MH1997PTC107159, formerly DSP BlackRock Investment Managers Private Limited until 2018). At the time of registration, the fund was part of the DSP BlackRock joint venture — a partnership between the DSP Group (founded in 1975 by Hemendra Kothari) and BlackRock Inc. (the world's largest asset manager). Following the amicable dissolution of the BlackRock partnership in August 2018, the company rebranded to DSP Investment Managers. The fund was originally registered at Mafatlal Centre, Nariman Point — DSP's headquarters before the move to The Ruby, Dadar West. DSP Investment Managers manages over ₹1.58 lakh crore in AUM across 50+ mutual fund schemes, ETFs, PMS, and AIF vehicles, and is one of India's most respected and long-standing asset management companies.
