Cosmea Quantamental Cat III AIF Master Trust is a SEBI-registered Category III Alternative Investment Fund (reg. IN/AIF3/24-25/1704), registered in January 2025 and managed by Cosmea Investment Management Private Limited, the AIF arm of Cosmea Financial Holdings — a Mumbai-based digital financial services conglomerate founded by Sam Ghosh. The fund employs a quantamental investment strategy, blending quantitative modelling with fundamental research across listed Indian equities, and operates as the flagship Category III AIF vehicle of the Cosmea Group alongside its Portfolio Management Services (PMS) platform. Cosmea Financial Holdings manages and advises approximately ₹1,000 crore in AUM across capital markets, wealth management, broking, and advisory services. In January 2025, the Group received SEBI approval to sponsor a mutual fund, planning to invest ₹200 crore in an AMC focused on Quant and Smart Beta strategies. The Group has also secured a Fund Management Entity licence in GIFT City for offshore operations, and entered a distribution partnership with WisdomTree, a global ETF sponsor managing over USD 100 billion in AUM.

Sam Ghosh is the Founder and Chairman of Cosmea Financial Holdings, the parent group of Cosmea Investment Management. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and a Mechanical Engineer from London University. He founded the Cosmea Group (which also operates under the 'Torus' brand) with the aim of providing all financial services under a single roof. He has led Cosmea's expansion across capital markets, PMS, AIF, mutual funds, and insurance, and guided the group toward SEBI approval for a mutual fund in January 2025.
