The firm was founded by Jasdeep Walia, who brings nearly 17 years of experience at Kotak Mahindra Bank across equity research, investment management, and institutional sales. Clockvine’s investment approach focuses on four pillars: sustainable growth, financial strength, clarity of business model, and return on capital discipline. The firm targets companies capable of delivering long-term revenue growth of 10–12% CAGR over a 3–5 year horizon while maintaining stable margins. Growth must be supported by strong balance sheets, low leverage, healthy cash flows, and improving or stable returns on capital. Investments are made in businesses capable of generating more than 15% post-tax ROCE on a normalized basis. The firm prefers to remain fully invested and rarely takes cash calls. Investment decisions are made with a 3–5 year horizon, with willingness to hold through business cycles unless structural deterioration is observed. The research process includes rigorous financial analysis and scuttlebutt-based due diligence through interactions with management, competitors, suppliers, and former employees.

Founder and Director
Jasdeep Walia is the Founder and Director of Clockvine Capital Advisors. Prior to founding Clockvine, he spent nearly 17 years (2004–2021) at Kotak Mahindra Bank across equity research, investment management, and sales functions. His experience spans multiple facets of public equity markets including fundamental research and portfolio management. Jasdeep holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Netaji Subhas University of Technology and an MBA from IIM Calcutta.
Anam Shaikh
Vice President
Anam Shaikh is Vice President at Clockvine Capital Advisors Pvt. Ltd. She previously worked in risk management at Nippon India Mutual Fund. She holds a Master’s degree in Management Studies (Finance) from Rizvi Institute of Management Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management Studies (Finance) from Siddharth College of Commerce. Her experience includes risk assessment, financial analysis, and investment evaluation.
