India Investment Opportunities Fund (IN/AIF2/18-19/0560) is a SEBI-registered Category II AIF managed by Brookfield Advisors India Private Limited, the Indian investment management subsidiary of Brookfield Asset Management — one of the world's largest alternative asset managers with USD 1 trillion+ in AUM. Registered in July 2018, the fund is part of Brookfield's India private equity / special situations platform. Brookfield has invested over USD 25 billion in India across real estate (Brookfield India REIT), infrastructure, renewable energy, and private equity. Notable India PE investments include Leela Hotels, Unitech Wireless, STFC, and a portfolio of businesses across industrials and business services. The fund's SEBI registered address at Godrej BKC has since moved to Unit 804, 8th Floor, Tower A, One BKC per the LEI record.
