Sourajeet joined Axis AMC as a Fund Manager for Debt PMS in December 2024. He brings deep expertise in fixed income markets. Prior to Axis AMC, he was Fixed Income, Burgundy Private Head of Investment Strategy at Axis Bank and has also held positions at ICICI Bank, Goldman Sachs, and Senora Advisors. He holds an MBA from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) and a BSc from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.

Nishit joined Axis AMC in 2025 as Senior Portfolio Manager. He is responsible for managing the firm's PMS (Portfolio Management Services) equity strategies, focusing on delivering risk-adjusted returns for high-net-worth investors through the listed equity alternatives platform.

B. Gopkumar is the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Axis AMC, a position he has held since May 1, 2023. He has over 28 years of professional experience in the financial services industry, with expertise in sales and distribution, managing large teams, marketing, branding, and building digital ecosystems. Prior to joining Axis AMC, he served as MD & CEO of Axis Securities from October 2019. He is a postgraduate in Business Management, and is an avid reader, fitness enthusiast, and passionate marathoner.

Mr. Ashish Gupta is the Chief Investment Officer for Axis Mutual Fund, responsible for developing, communicating, and driving investment strategy across all product segments. He joined Axis AMC in March 2023. Most recently, he was the Head of India Equity Research at Credit Suisse, where he spent 14 years as a Managing Director. He actively tracked the banking sector across 13 Asian economies and covered 130 stocks with an aggregate market cap of over $2 trillion. He is known for the 'House of Debt' report that first uncovered the extent of non-performing assets in Indian banking. He has over 25 years of experience across varied industries and began his professional journey with IDBI.

R Sivakumar has been associated with Axis AMC since its inception in 2009, serving in several leadership roles including Head of Fixed Income. In his current designate role, he leads the Products & Alternatives division, overseeing product strategy and the firm's growing alternatives business spanning PMS, AIFs, real estate, private equity, and structured credit.

Namrata joined Axis AMC in 2025 as the Chief Risk Officer. She brings extensive experience in risk management within the financial services sector, and is responsible for overseeing the firm's enterprise and investment risk framework.

Himanshu Misra heads the Human Resources function at Axis AMC. He joined the company in June 2022 from Axis Bank. His over 16 years of diverse experience spans HR domains including Rewards, Talent Acquisition & Development, HR Business Partnering, Performance Management, Succession Planning, HR Analytics, and Change Management. He has also led large-scale HR Technology projects, M&A integrations, and large teams. Prior to Axis Bank, he worked at Citibank and the ICICI Group. He is an alumnus of MDI (Management Development Institute) in Human Resource Management.

Vishal Dhanesha joined Axis AMC as Chief Operating Officer in 2024. He is responsible for driving operational efficiency and scale across the organisation. Previously, he served as Internal Audit Head at SBI Mutual Fund and has also held positions at Franklin Templeton and KPMG. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics.

Fagun Pancholi is the Chief Financial Officer at Axis AMC, having joined the organisation in August 2023. With over 25 years of experience, he has led multiple significant functions across finance, accounting, business processes, and value reengineering, including playing a key role in IPO and M&A transactions. His last role was with HDFC Life as a senior management team member, where he also served as CFO of HDFC Pension Management Company. He began his professional journey with Larsen & Toubro in 1997. He is a Chartered Accountant and an all-India CA Final Ranker from ICAI.

Hitesh joined Axis AMC in 2022 as SVP & Head – Listed Equity Alternatives. He is responsible for managing the Axis PMS listed equity strategies, overseeing portfolio construction and fund management for high-net-worth and institutional clients in the alternatives space.

Ashish joined Axis AMC in July 2022 as Director – Private Equity to build and strengthen the firm's private equity and venture capital investing capabilities. He has over two decades of professional experience, of which 12 years have been in growth private equity and late-stage venture investing. Prior to Axis AMC, he was the global Co-Head for Equity Investments in Healthcare, Food & Agri and Consumer at CDC Group plc (now British International Investment). Earlier, he was Director and Country Head for India at AIF Capital, an Asian growth PE firm. He began his career at KPMG India and later Goldman Sachs in the UK. Across his career, he has worked through the full lifecycle of PE/VC investing including fundraising, deployment, and exits, and has served extensively as a Board Director or Observer at portfolio companies. He holds a PGPM from the Indian School of Business, is a Chartered Accountant from ICAI, and holds a B.Com (Hons) from Delhi University.

Nachiket joined Axis AMC as the Head of Structured Credit in October 2024, spearheading the Structured Credit AIF business. He brings nearly three decades of experience in credit markets. Prior to Axis AMC, he was Head – Corporate Lending at Arka Fincap (2019–2024), Managing Director at IREP Credit Capital (2012–2018), Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank (2010–2011), and Vice President in Debt Capital Markets at ABN AMRO (2004–2010). He also held earlier roles at IL&FS and CARE Ratings.

Nikhil Garg joined Axis AMC in April 2023 as Principal – Structured Credit and manages the day-to-day credit portfolio within the Structured Credit AIF strategy, supporting deal origination, structuring, and monitoring across the private credit book.

Chetan Shah joined Axis AMC in May 2024 as Managing Partner and Head Real Estate. He is responsible for leading Axis AMC's real estate alternatives platform, including the Axis Commercial Real Estate Fund, overseeing investment strategy, deal origination, and portfolio management for the real estate AIF business.

Sushant joined Axis AMC in 2018 as Principal – Real Estate. His area of expertise includes real estate private credit and equity investments, deal structuring, legal due diligence, and portfolio management within the alternatives real estate vertical.

Ms. Padmaja Shirke joined Axis AMC in November 2023 as the Head – Compliance, Legal & Secretarial. She is responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance, legal affairs, and secretarial functions across all Axis AMC entities, ensuring adherence to SEBI and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
