Prabhat Awasthi has more than 30 years of experience in the Indian financial markets. He began his career as a credit analyst before moving into equity analysis and later led award-winning equity research teams across multiple institutions. He previously led the India franchise of Nomura as Country Head and earlier founded Brics Securities, which was acquired by Lehman Brothers within three years. His experience across research, strategy and institutional markets provides the strategic foundation for Alturas.
Samir Sheth
Managing Director
Samir Sheth has more than 20 years of experience in the Indian financial markets, spanning private wealth management and institutional equities. He previously headed the Institutional Equities business at Nomura Financial Advisory and Securities (India) Private Limited, where he worked for over 13 years advising global and domestic institutional investors. He holds an MBA in Finance from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
Chirag Parekh

Chirag Parekh has over 20 years of experience in the Indian capital markets. He founded Stock Planet Private Limited in 2005 where he managed proprietary investment strategies and later headed Equity Investments and Trading Strategy at Prarambh Securities Private Limited.
